Ten, because I can't quite get myself to 13 today.
- I went to the doctor for my "contact dermatitis" (aka, what I think is poison ivy. Thanks, dogs.) I could not longer take the misery of constant scratching that kept me up three (THREE) nights in a row.
- On that note, steroid packs are awesome.
- However, the super antihistimine she prescribed to help me sleep and to stop the itch makes me "I'm pregnant" drowsy. Which I assure you I'm not.
- I rode my new bicycle today. First time I've been on a bike since I was a sophomore in college. I was reminded of just HOW out of shape I actually am.
- I (accidentally) stabbed myself in the thumb with a pair of scissors today whilst trying to remove the water bottle holder for said bike. How I managed not to fill the neighborhood's cool night air with a barrage of expletives is BEYOND me.
- I have a billion projects I'd like to work on in my head of things to make. I think a problem I have is that I enjoy looking at the things I've collected to incorporate into projects (buttons, fabric, ribbon, beads) so much that it'll be hard to part with them. I guess that just means I'd better stockpile! ;)
- Last night I totally had a Sweetest Thing moment (you know, the Cameron Diaz/Christina Applegate movie. Total hilarity). Looking at myself while getting ready for bed, I couldn't help but look at myself and go, "22, 28. 22, 28."
- To that end, I am not against a boob lift after this kids thing is said and done. I'm not a vain person who loves plastic surgery. I just don't want to have monkey boobs the rest of my life.
- The sound of children whining, no matter the age, is one of the worst sounds in the world. Like fingernails on chalkboard.
- On the other end, the sound of your child singing has to be one of the most beautiful sounds in the world, right up there with choirs of angels. It can also be hilarious, especially when your child is singing, over and over, "Cheese, cheese, cheese!" to the Jeopardy theme song. Which she does.

that last photo is precious. they all are, and you look gorgeous, but her sweet little face studying the cover of that book... : )
steroids rock. did you organize your fabric by color after you started taking them? or were you too busy scrubbing the floors like a maniac?
I love that your crafty things are organized by the colors of the rainbow!
I just want to know if I can come play at your house? Looks like you have big kid toys as well as cool stuff for little people to do. :)
I am still amazed at how one of my books will occupy my kids. They used to sit with the French English dictionary (NO pictures at all) for 30 minutes or more, looking at the words like they could read them.
Went to the zoo Wednesday. Really liked it! And the park outside - WOW!! So different from what it was when we left.
Great pictures. Your craft stuff looks so neat and tidy! Mine is in a heap in a box in the garage. Glad to see your beautiful daughter enjoying her books.

3. she's too cute and too big already
I can't stand whining either - really it is the WORST for me - I get all panic-y!!
