It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Time is getting way too short between now and Christmas. It has gone by WAY too fast, and I can honestly say that I am going to be sad to see it go. Minus the constant reprimanding of Livers for thieving ornaments off of the tree. She has turned the tree's splendor into shagginess. Though there is something wonderful to be said to experience Christmas through the eyes of a child, especially one who is just gaining an awareness of all there is to see and do.

To that end, I'll probably be absent here for awhile. I'll be getting caught up in the hustle and bustle of the season and all it entails: last minute wrapping and gift making, traveling, cooking, and time spent with loved ones. I'll visit if I can, but I want to spend most of my time with my family and remembering the real reason for this beautiful season.

I hope that every one has a very Merry Christmas! And a Happy New Year if busyness takes that much of a hold on me! :)

I leave you with a little holiday cheer a la Livers :)

LOVE the pic! I regret not forcing my kids onto Santa's lap for this shot because now they are too big and flat out REFUSE to go near the man.
Have a wonderful Christmas with your little one!!

Oh no an unhappy Livers.....

I know just what you mean - it has seem to go by too fast! I will miss it, but agree - I will not miss telling Avery over and over to stop swiping by the tree and making it move!
