Menu Plan Monday - April 28

We did pretty good with sticking to the menu last week, but we backslid a bit this weekend and went out to eat Sunday. The husband just wasn't feeling what was on the menu :)

That being said, here's this week's menu. Monday is the same corn chowder from last week; we just didn't make it.

Monday: Corn Chowder
Tuesday: Enchiladas (recipe courtesy of Mama's Losin' It)
Wednesday: Tuesday leftovers
Thursday: Philly Cheese Steaks
Friday: Sloppy Joes with fries
Saturday & Sunday: sloppy joe leftovers one night; eat out the other

Ooohhh.... Philly Cheese Steaks! Yum. It's been forever since I've had one! Your menu looks really good!

I'm not "feeling" my menu either. I'm supposed to be cooking supper right now, actually. :)

Thanks for popping by my blog and giving an answer to my question! I'll have the correct answer up tomorrow.

Nice to meet you!

Hi Lindsay! I saw your comment on "clemsonandthecoach"! I live in Clemson too :) I have 2 boys at Clemson Elem. and just opened "Tickled Orange"--a new store downtown by (formerly)Duke's. It is a "sister store" to Tigertown Graphics. Bring Livers in to visit! Maggie

This is what I need to do! I swear!

What do you do when they don't want it or eat it?

My daughter's only 16 months, so I usually don't have high expectations of her eating it. Because of time (dinner takes a long time to make) and wanting to eat dinner in peace we often eat after she goes to bed. We usually do this with meals that we know she won't like (too spicy, ethnic, etc.). On these nights we feed her separately. On other nights we offer her the food we're eating (we try to incorporate things she likes into the menu, usually sides). If she doesn't eat it, then we'll give her some bread or Cheerios but don't make her a real meal.
