THURSDAY 13 - Versus

Here's a list of thirteen things: what I WILL be doing this weekend versus what I WANT to be doing this weekend. Luckily some of the things I will be doing aren't too shabby.... :)

1. Cleaning up approximately 109 handfuls of thrown food of the floor
2. Sleeping in until noon
3. Changing 13 poopy diapers
4. Watching a movie in an actual movie theater
5. Vacuuming up 10 lbs. of dog fur, 5 bags of Cheerios, and a 1/2 of a ripped up rug pad (complements of Livers)
6. Crafting without interruption (and with motivation)
7. Talking Livers to "PAAAY!!", AKA the playground
8. Seeing Jon and Kate Gosselin at a local MOPS event (This is actually true!!! I'm so excited!!!)
9. Letting the dogs out 15 times a day
10. Traveling to ATL for a weekend of shopping, site-seeing, concert-going, and swank hotels
11. Taking a nice, relaxing walk with the dogs while the husband watches Livers
12. Sit a Barnes and Noble all afternoon drinking chai lattes while catching up on celebrity gossip (ahh, the peaceful pre-baby days...)
13. Getting kissing and cuddles from my Livers and Jeremy (ahh, the wonderful present...)

I am too! I checked out their website (http://www.sixgosselins.com/) awhile ago and for kicks checked the upcoming events and saw they were coming to speak near where I live. I immediately jumped on it and luckily scored tickets! (And even better...they were free.)

My husband isn't too in to Kate, either. He thinks someone's constantly pooping in her Cheerios, for lack of a better way of putting it. I saw, if I had to deal with 8 kids all the time, I'd feel the same way!

Hi, I just found your blog via babies, barbies and boys and oh my gosh you sound exactly like me. A list 5 miles long of things you will be doing, and yet you're sitting at your computer blogging about it instead of knocking them off the list. If you're like me you'll get to MAYBE half od that stuff and spend the rest of the weekend on the internet and catching up on re-runs of the New York Housewives. ;)

Unfortunately most nights all I have the energy for is a little bit of blogging or vegging out. I wish I had the energy to get all the things I enjoy to do done....Ahh, the life of a mother!

BBB, I sadly JUST got your odds joke. My math-loving husband would be disappointed :)
