Mmmm... I haven't had dinner yet so that all sounds great!
sat sounds yummy - how do you make Indian fried chx??
what the heck is tamatar aloo??
Indian fried chicken is very yummy. It's basically regular fried chicken (flour, salt, pepper) but you add Indian spices like curry powder, garam masala, and turmeric to it. It is DELICIOUS! Tamatar aloo is an Indian dish (we love the Indian food) from a cookbook we have. We've never tried it. It's vegetarian and consists of tomatoes, potatoes, and various spices. I'll have to let you know if it's worth it!
Oh my gosh you have no idea. I'm like "why can't I just write about my family and be cool with that?? Why do I have to go and stir the pot??"
I think when I wrote it I really was not thinking about race issues at all. I was just thinking it was funny. Later when I thought about who may or may not read it I was like "OH CRAP!" but it was too late to delete it. I didn't want to make it seem like I didn't support my own opinions. I still don't think it's racist at all...I think some people are a little overly sensitive about it and they're making me uneasy.
Thanks for your nice comment though!!
Yum ... TOTALLY drooling right now.
Green with envy, seriously. I want to do this!!! So tired of the usual suspects for dinner.
