We used to do the exact same thing with our dog!
OH - I have to say - I'm laughing really, but just disgusting! My dog tries to lick our baby chair, I wave her away every time!
We always kick the dogs out of the kitchen when the baby is eating. And after this scene I pull out the antibacterial soap...big time.
