Welcome, SITStas!!!

Good morning (or afternoon, or evening) to everyone stopping by! I'm sorry I couldn't come up with a jazzier welcome than this, but it is pushing 11:30PM, which means that my quarter cup of creative juices is about tapped. I hope that everyone enjoys their visit to my bright and sunny little corner of the bloggiverse!

We have no groceries in our house right now, unless you count a couple of packs of Ramen, a half a bag of Oreos (carefully hidden from the 21-month-old), and some leftover beers from this week's tailgate (not for me, thankyouverymuch). Since none of these things will healthily (and lawfully) sustain a toddler, let alone a family of three, I have to take care of some major grocery shopping today. That and likely vacuum up another three pounds of dog hair. Between this and keeping Livers out of the DVDs, off of the entertainment center, and from ripping stuffing out of the pillows, I might be a wee bit slow visiting your blogs today, but I promise I'll make soon!

I hope you leave happy, entertained, and itching to come back for more! I look forward to visiting and making some new friends!

~Lindsay.

Hey, you could completely survive on the Oreo's for a day or so. Really.
I feel your pain, we grocery shop around here three times a week because of our teeny tiny European refrigerator. What I would give for a side by side and a Costco right now!

Found you through SITS. :)

Well, once I finally found my way down here to leave comment 76 - I forgot what I was going to say... :)
Your grocery situation sounds alot like ours!!! Oh and I know what you mean about vacuming up 3 lbs of dog hair...This is why Avery loves to vacuum SO much - because that is all I ever do! I swear we could make another dog out of all that hair! I left you a goodie on my blog!!!

LORI said...

YOU DO REALIZE THAT MARTHA COULD WHIP UP A 7-COURSE MEAL WITH WHAT YOU HAVE IN YOUR PANTRY RIGHT NOW, DON'T YOU?! DON'T WORRY THOUGH, THE REST OF US ARE HUMAN! ALTHOUGH, A MEAL OF RAMEN WITH OREOS FOR DESSERT DOESN'T SOUND HALF BAD...

Stella said...

I love your blog! Thank you for sharing. What fun experiences. Happy SITS!

Deb said...

are you SURE you don't want my son? he would fit right in... all he eats is ramen and oreos. and i know he would feel like he was at home amidst all the dog hair. do you have tumbleweeds? mine literally tumble. don't they need their fur with the weather turning cooler? what's up???

love that little miss livers. she would never be mean to me, i just know it.

How funny that right now I'm procrastinating going to the grocery store by visiting your lovely blog! Your daughter is beautiful. Thanks for bringing back the wonderful memories.

Well, personally, I DO count Ramen and Oreos as a fully-stocked house. But if you insist on actually providing food for your family, go ahead to the grocery store then. Hey, can you pick me up some Twinkies while you're there?
